I moved into Belmont Crossing apts in December 2006. The person I enjoyed speaking and handling my affairs would be Shantress. She is so professional and knows how to speak with tenats in a pleasurable manner. During my stay I have visited the office on several occasions to make rental payments. And the person to handle this transaction for me was Tahiarh, who is very rude and unprofessional. I really don't know why she's even employeed at Belmont her attitude really makes your business approach unpleasant.
Because of Tahiarh's behavior to the tenants I have made it my business to share with friends and my co-workers to not rent here. The only reason I asked for my brother and his wife was because they were looking for something quick and close to my nephew's school. Just because I was having a bad experience with them in the office does not mean my family will. Now, don't get me wrong they were advised. But, they believe in giving anyone a chance, as I have in the past. When a person make a business decision about a place of residence they take it serious. The staff that works for that location that is leasing residences should also. I have never been treated with so much disrespect during my process of renting anywhere.
In the event, I did send my 30-day notice via email prior to the incident with my fiance assulting non-residences/residence in the complex. This incident resulted in my early eviction. My fiance has a history of sleep walking, and this particular night he drove from out of town to help me pack up until 2am. He had been up over 16 hours without any sleep, that night he woke up went to the balcony to smoke heard commotion and went downstairs and attacked two individuals he never meet in his life in front of children in a car. The courts were able to see that this was not a tentional incident and he was placed on a 1-year probation, and sent to a sleep study program and 60-hours of community service. If Belmont was using there common sense they would not have judged the situation so prematurely. My fiance would have never assulted anyone that he did not know, especially in front of children. Now,if Belmont Crossing staff wanted to be so concerned they would have attended. And then again maybe they did, they are just to embarrassed now to say anything. Well, we are going to see about how much they can remember when I take them to court. Mines will be based on FACTS like: Slander is a type of defamation that is spoken, as in, if someone is spreading vicious rumors or speaking untrue statements which are injurious to your character. Libel, on the other hand, is a written or visually documented defamatory statement. Libel can be written text or photographs or doctored works which are harmful your character.

Well I disagree, I have been there three years and Shantress is the one with the nasty attitude not pleasurable at all. Tahira is a straight forward person and tends to be impatient sometimes but I havent had any problems with her. Shantress is the one that I avoid talking to because she is so rude.

Dear C White,
I am very appalled by the allegations that you made stating that my assistant manager is rude and unprofessional. I think it's the way it's perceived on your part. Month after month, you have communicated with Tahirah via drop box or email regarding issues with your rental payment being on time. You have given numerous reasons why your rent payment will be late, including renting a vehicle and the amount of $150 deposit being deducted from your debit card and you were waiting for the card to be credited back. Another instance you asked for us to hold your rental payment until Friday for that was when your payroll check would be deposited. A third instance you claimed that you would not be paying your rent until January 11th due to the holidays and financial difficulties. Tahirah is very meticulous and professional when it comes to collecting rental payments and sending her late letters out accordingly. Residents always seem to get upset when late/warrants are attached to their doors. If no letters were sent out, that would mean Tahirah wasn't doing her job. As for credit card payments over the phone, that was a decision that was implemented by our corporate office. For the protection of you and your identity, you must be present to do a credit card or debit card transaction. Sorry for an inconvenience that this has caused. The rent due dates has always been the same. Please plan accordingly if you are expected to be out of town. You have also stated that you have made it your business to warn people not to rent here. You contradicted yourself by referring your brother and sister-in-law to rent here and you actually have been working with Tahirah on it. If Tahirah is so rude and unprofessional, why would you even care to work with her on your referrals when others are in the office that can assist you? Although you have renewed your lease with us even though you are so unhappy with your residency here, you have been granted your wish to be free from Belmont Crossing. Due to the felonious behavior of your unauthorized occupant whom endangered the safety of your neighbors and a minor, you have a mandatory order of termination. Despite numerous letters, e-mails and other points of contact concerning issues that stemmed from you not getting your way and being asked to follow community guidelines-you have not made contact with this office regarding this issue. Surely someone who attempts to portray the persona that you do should find that this situation warranted you to make contact with this office. We're not the enemy C. White; you're a part of our community. But just as everywhere else in the world-we have rules and regulations that must be adhered to. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

I think this response largely shows the unprofessional nature of staff at Belmont Crossing, putting residents business out there is not at all professional, especially on a website made for future residents to de research on apartment complexes and their staff.... take note people take note

Wow, this is very unbelievable that they would put your personal business out like they did. It shows their unprofessionalism and attitude. They made personal attacks by stating everything they did for everyone else to see. Who owns this complex because this needs to be reported.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!! I was planning on moving here or they were on my consideration list! But now I am not so sure! I agree with the other people when they say the response left my the Belmont management was disrespectful and lacked tact. I really cannot believe that a truely professional person would write such attacking statements and seriously believe that would help with potential tenants? (which is why this website was designed)
C.White I would see about taking that to corporate and also point out that is a major turn off to potential residnents. I know it is for me!

Dear Belmont Manager/Staff:
I am a student looking for an apartment and I came across this listing on apartmentratings.com. Let me first start by saying that I find that you are unprofessional and this action should be reported to your supervisors. I have taken the liberty to send a notification to your corporate office. The company president has received this string and a note from me. Within this trying economy, I certainly don't wish harm to your job; however, this kind of verbal attack is harmful to your resident as well as to the overall image of the company. It is my hope that if this company retains you as an employee, you are provided the necessary training to aid you in your ability to respond with a sense of humility and kindness and not hatred and malice. I have chosen not to rent from this any property within NALS because of this rating. It is my hope that as you are charged with providing decent living conditions for others, that you will become more sensitive to their needs.

I've read this post numerous times in shock by the managements response and I still don't see how management can conclude that this person's name is C.White???

The reason they were able to use my name, was because I called them out. That's the only reason they took note and tried to make me look stupid. Instead, they made themselves like unprofessional as I have stated from the beginning. They really need to think of a way to revant the staff and start over with people who are respectful and kind to their tenants. I found a great home and I love it..

i tell people all the time: just because you work in a professional setting doesn't make you a professional. some people are lucky and land in a good place that they do not belong. tact, courtesy, class, professionalism are not god-given. they are learned traits that this entire staff obviously lacks. for this staff person to have been hired and remained there means he/she has much in common w/ the rest of the staff and management.
