I have been on the apt search for about 3weeks now. I am moving from St. Augustine Florida. I have viewed many diffrent communities.Some of them good, some of them bad and some of them were just so-so. I toured Belmont Landing recently and it was one of my favorites. My tour was led by a professional lady ,she seemed very interested in my needs and answered all of my questions. I thought that the property was beautiful and the fact that I could have a lake view won me over. However I needed to know more so I searched this site for the scoop. I really am concerned about the very negative comments that are displayed on the site, as they are conflicting with the service and product that I viewed. The language used in many (not all)of the comments would suggest that someone is taking their experience to heart and is very angry. That does not change the fact of events that may have taken place in the past. However unsavory things seem to happen every where. Not just in Georgia. So my advice to people on the hunt for an apartment is to ask all the questions and not be swayed by tempermental comments. Look at the facts and the times that we are living in. I more than likely will rent at Belmont Landing because of the care, concern and attention given to me by warm people not to mention the apartment has a lovely view of the lake which is reminiscent of home. I will only be in Georgia for 6 months for Core Training. My biggest concern throughout this hole ordeal is the lack of compassion that may exist here(Georgia).

This person from florida has obviously lost their ever loving mind!!!!! If you want the truth on Belmont look at all the other comments!!! are blind or just dumb and its not that people in GA are insensitive, Hell everybody knows that Georgians have the upmost sincerity and hospitality, Belmont is literally hell in the physical form here on earth! If you want the truth you don't have to take everyone's word on it that have listed the obivious problem about this property on this site, go to the local police department which is clayton co and riverdale police department its that simple and they will be more than happy to give you all the information about the numerous murders that tie in with drugs, and the felons that reside on the property (that's why undercover's stak out the community in unmarked cars) as well as the festive ladies of the night (whores, and strippers) so If you feel so overwhelmed with how professional the desprite person in the leasing office was then go right ahead maybe this is your cup of tea, just maybe you will fit right in! But I find it really hard to believe that someone A. had a professional experience with anyone in that office, because they are all ghetto and very unprofessional!!! B. that you really don't have any common sense to look at the overall rating on this property from present day dated back a few years. Here's a little F.Y.I honey whenever you have multiple comments about something or someone usually the common denomanator is that issue with that thing or person, which in this case is Belmont Landing, CNC Investments as well as the office staff.Here's a better one why don't you look up CNC investments and see how many complaints they have as a company the review are quiet alarming as well.But if you still decide to move in with your little retarded self. Please make sure your life insurance policy is paid because your beneficiary will need it. because if the people on the property don't get ya, the mold will, or the office and maint. staff will give you a heart attack. Yea..You are a bit off your rocker and a just a little nieve if you were smitten by the "wonderful, friendly staff", who answered all your questions. Before you move in, ask them was anyone killed in that apartment. One guy killed himself in building 28 and I wonder if they changed the carpet, sheetrock, etc...Or if they just painted over it? Ask them if you have to pay that 10 dollar fee for the card that you use at the gate that does not work? Ask them if the sauna works (if its still there...And if they say these things don't work right now, but maintenance is working on it, ask them when was the last time it worked. Start keeping documents and record now!!!!! Record everything. I use to live there, I know how this game is played. Mr. Florida Man, Georgia is a dog eat state just like any other..Some people here are friendly, some are not..If you are here for arm forces training, you are goning to have to learn the hard way. At first when I read your comment I thought you worked at the office of Belmont and was desperate for a positive comment about the community until you said, "to not be swayed by tempermental comments" it was apparent you're nieve, mentally challenged and deserve to live with the rest of them at Belmont. Of course the office staff will be helpfull, professional and polite so they can suck you into renting there. I lived on the mosquited mud hole, oops I mean lake where anyone and everything hung out all night. Then there was the guy who killed himself in bldg 28, almost daily apartment and car breakins and the guy who murded his girlfriend. If you don't belive it, check with the police. When I asked management why they didn't send notices to warn tenants their response was, "our attorneys told us not to notify tenants because they won't want to rent here anymore". If that isn't enough, there's the mold which they paint over and there was the $70 water bills I got for 1 person with no washer. Turned out, the complex is so old they received one bill and divided it by the # of apartments so a single person paid as much as a family of six. If you thrive on dealth and crime then go sign. You're thinking that people are taking their experences to heart and are very angry is the farthest from the truth. Truth is, those commenting are the one's who left while they still had a beating heart and are trying to save another life. Good luck you'll need it, and by the way the short yellow bus picks up at the gate.
