I live at Chateau Forest Apartments and I can say that if any of these people are saying that they had a bug problem it was because they must not have been the cleanest of people. I haven't had a bug problem and if I call for maintenence I give them a couple days, (there are 700 apartments here) they get out and get the problem fixed right away. They have EMERGENCY maintenence at night and if it is an EMERGENCY they come right away. The staff lives here as well. If you are a clean person you won't have a bug problem. I recommend the complex to anyone looking to make Riverdale a better place.

I can understand why you might suggest that people who have a bug problem are unclean. But please you are truely misleading people. I have never seen a roach in my life until moving to GA. And I just happened to move into this apartment complex site unseen as I needed to get houseing before moving down here. Luckly I got a month to month lease. When I moved in the apartment was extremely dirty. The first thing I did was Bleach the whole place. Including having to move the fridge and stove myself to clean behind them. The fridge and freezer also had black mold and roach parts inside them. I did make many complaints to the office and they claim to have had the apartment sprayed. I never saw improvement. FYI: I was only there a few months before I gave up. I also did not have any food or garbage in the apartment. Every day I ate at work or at the chinese place in the plaza at the entrance. So again bugs were there of their own accord and not my invitation. I will say the bug problem there was far less then I encountered in other apartments that I have rented in the area since. Although it stinks I have found if I get the apartment sprayed before I move in (out of my own pocket) I tend to have no or little problems after that. Bugs and roaches seem to be a huge problem in this area or the south in general?

Having roaches doesn't automatically mean unclean...I have worked with Orkin and know that Roaches will reside anywhere there is a wall, water and food. Roaches can live on eating anything. So cleanliness is not the reason!
