The first day I moved in I found out the airconditioning didn't work. They fixed it the next day and I thought wow this is going to be great. Got home from work the following day and it was over 90 in the apt. Asked my son what was going on. He said maintenance said we can't run the air because it is leaking into apt below. I spoke with maintenace and the office. I told them that they needed to treat the wood in the closet where the unit was, so mold would not start growing. They sprayed some kind of spray, but don't believe it was for mold. In a few months my son and I started getting sick. Opened the closet where airconditioning unit was and the mold smell hit you in the face. Got a mold kit from Home Depot and before the time was up for the kit, there was so much mold on it. I told the office about it. I told them we were getting sick. They said they would come and spray on a Wed. Then they told me you have to air the place out because it is poison spray. It is in the winter when this is going on. I asked them to wait and spray on the weekend since my son and I have no where to go. She got really snotty and said first you want us to fix it and then you say don't spray. I told her I didn't say that. I said why don't you put us up in a hotel since we have to open doors and windows and it is freezing outside. She said no. I told her I would call Randy Travis from Fox 5 and she said you call whoever. I don't care. They came and sprayed and the smell went away for a while and then the mold came back. As soon as my lease was up we left.

Every time I would go in the office the ladies would be setting on the couch watching tv with what I assume are their boyfriends.

Even saw one of mainentance outside our window pretend fighting his pit bull with another pit bull. I can't believe one of the other tenants had her baby in a stroller watching. Maintenance always reaks of smoke when the come in your apt.

One night I smelled something burning in the furnace closet and called Maintenance. It was about 10pm on a Friday evening. It is not the smell when you first turn on the furnace, which is what he tried to tell me. I had the furnace on for a week by this time, so I wouldn't be getting a burning smell anyway. He said I am in bed and don't want to get up. Can't I come in the morning. I told him then I will not be responsible if the apt catches on fire. About 30 minutes later he came and was mad. You know if you don't like your job get another.

I wouldn't even take my dog to stay in these apts for boarding.

One lady got the keys to her apt and there was a dead decaying dog in there. They told her they weren't cleaning it up. Just trashy office staff and maintenance. Even if this were the only apts in Georgia, I would choose the homeless shelter.

This is a GHETTO. It used to be such a nice complex when I first moved to Riverdale in 1996 that I couldn't afford to move in. Boy it is a dump now.
