You Get What You Pay For

First off, this is a tax-credited property, therefore, residents must fall into certain income brackets in order to move in. Anyone with a relatively decent income will not qualify. The good thing is that once you are in you cannot be kicked out no matter how much your income increases. This means incredibly CHEAP rent if you happen to make it in and then your income increases. Because the property is geared for low income earners there is A LOT of turnover.
PRO:
CHEAP!
NEW and relatively clean.
Some units have a great view from the balcony.
Large and spacious units.
Conveniently located to both sides of Rome.
CON:
Shifty tenants that tend to play their bass infused music at all hours.
Office staff seems to be out of control.
Car wash rarely functions properly.
Very small pool and exercise room.
Grounds are often littered.
Units are nice, however, it is easy to notice that they were built cheaply and quickly.
OVERALL:
It is hard to find a new and decent apartment complex in Rome, so Ashland Park is one of only a few options in the area. If you can qualify to get in, then I would recommend because the rent is incredibly cheap for a new place. However, remember that you get what you pay for.
