Check things out VERY carefully before you sign...

At first glance, this place can be very appealing. The size of the apartment, for the money, is a good value. Watch closely though, kids of all ages are roaming around unsupervised constantly, maintenance work is very sloppy, parking spaces are severely tight...that is, when you can find a spot, and the quality of some tenants can be VERY questionable. We watched a young man, high on drugs, kick the windows of his mother's basement apartment out. Another resident fell asleep on their couch with a lit cigarette and burned up his apt. and those next to him. Beer bottles, cans, and broken glass were occasionally strewn around the property and the pool was ripe for bacteria. We chose to swim in the neighborhood pool (also avail to the apt. renters). On the plus side, the surrounding neighborhood is beautiful with a gorgeous lake, nature trail, tennis courts and two pools. The elementary school, Esther Jackson, is one of the best in the city of Roswell. And the neighbors in the community are some of the nicest people you could meet. Hopefully, for their property values sake, they can force some change in this complex with so much potential. (Screenings of the tenants would be a good first start.) There are some nice residents in the complex as well, but anyone we talked with had the same disappointments as us.
Like I said, check things out very carefully before you make a commitment.
