aweful,rude staff, worst maintenance, forgetful management

My rent price was high since i signed month to month, then 1yr, then 6 month lease. Few things gets done over time, since change of management, nothing gets done. Many, MANY things wrong with the apartment which never gets fixed after repeated requests. NEVER TRUST THEM WITH VERBAL AGREEMENTS, ASK FOR WRITTEN ONE BECAUSE THEY WILL FORGET OR DENY. Many of my neighbors moved out complaining about management. When i spoke with other residents about their problems, they also say that nothing gets fixed after repeated complaints, and the staff (notably assistant manager Tiffany) is extremely rude. Their excuse is always nothing got done because they're under new management. When I said that its still the same owner so its still their responsibility, they made no comment. I lived in a two bedroom second floor. The wood stairs were rotting, moved in because they promised to fix it. Did not after two years. As i was moving out this week the top stair collapsed, four other steps partially broken. Requested maintenance on this and a host of other problems, only fixed half after 5th or so notice. Management gets extremely rude when repeated asking for fix, even denies i requested it prior. Gave notice i was moving out months ago, gave written one month and a half ago and checked three times with different personnel to make sure there were no problems with my moving. after moving out everything, management lies that they said it was okay, lies that i even spoke with them, lied to my attorney about my contacting them to move out. They say i'm responsible for an additional month rent. I was a quiet, PATIENT tenent for two years, but all they seem to care about is getting more money out of you.
1.broken stair case, request maintenance for two years, never fixed!!!!!!!!
2.Poor insulation, can hear neighbors fight.
3.gaps, holes in window and door, expect high electricity bill
4.floor was caving in in dining room
5.bathroom tiles cracked
6.overly strong water pressure, loses hot water in less than five min. no hot water at all at 7 min.
7.heating and air ducts poor, cold in one room, hot in another
8.poor lighting at door
9.bug problems at door and balcony
10.bathroom fixture leak, fixed after two months.
11.door knob broken, knob turn but could not open door anymore, fixed after two weeks during which i could not access bathroom.
12.looks nice but very poor materials and craftmanship. do not be fooled. not worth anywhere near rent.
13.gym consists of one universal machine. not worth using.
14.response time is a serious problem
