When I first moved into "Cameron Creek," the staff was knowledgable and friendly. The apartments were nice, and the maintenance done in a timely matter. The community was full of young professionals. Between two management changes and company changes to Archstone, things went the completely opposite way. The staff could have cared less; maintenance was never taken care of. At one point in 2001, I had sewage backing up inside my bathtub. It took over 10 calls to management to have the problem resolved.
Within two months in 2002, I had to call the police twice because of drunk people knocking on my door and trying to get into my aparment. Someone was assaulted in her apartment shortly after that. It took management nearly a month to notify the residents.
Children ran free in the complex. Several times, I nearly hit one as I came around a blind corner (at low speed) because they were playing in the middle of the streets.
The apartments were horrible by the time I left. I was probably about the last professional to move out...to a nice, quiet house of my own.
