The new management--Worthing Companies--is absolutely terrible. It is virtually impossible to get a live person when you call the office, even during office hours. Because of this problem, I once had to wait 10 hours to have an emergency maintenance problem addressed (smoke was coming out of my bathroom electrical outlet). In addition, if you do manage to get even the answering service on the phone, you'd probably die waiting before you got a call back from someone in the office. With few exceptions, most of the employees in the office (many of whom are brand new--they have terrible turnover) are rude and slow. When my lease runs out in February, I will not be renewing.

HI,
I visited their apartments last week and they seemed a lot nicer from the exteior (fresh paint, new asphault, and new roofs). However, reading everbodies comments are scareing the crap out of me. It seems they are trying to get this place turned around (new management), but I don't know if I want to hang around to find out. I could tell the lady in the leasing office was stressed out, by the way she was treating me. I have put down my non-refundable 99 dollars for the application, but I think it might be worth losing. I certainly don't want my place to get broken into. I think that after a couple of months it should get better. This is the transition phase right now.

It is a transition phase--transitioning from bad to worse! Honestly, things were much better before the Worthing Company took over. If it were still Archstone, I would stay here forever. Believe me, the new management is not making things better.
