Lived in several apartments from Cincinnati to Miami. I thought getting out of this situation was tough with 60 days notice and an extra months rent. However, I did accept that and was ready to move on. I'm asking for the copy of the lease I signed -----Is that so bad???? They still haven't given it to me. I asked and agreed to get out of here for what I thought was extremely 1 sided but I agreed to it. Then, even more stuff was thrown on top of this. Sorry, I have been too trustworthy but I really should have read over that lease with a fine tooth comb. Is it wrong to think that a 60 day notice and 1 months rent is not enough to get out of here????? Am I being unreasonable???? Am I the whiner???? Please, I agreed to what I was told last Friday and then it escalated into an extra $1000.00 . Bad situation!!

Just a thought - have you actually tried TALKING to your neighbors with words instead of just banging the walls at them? If you refuse to treat your neighbors as people and instead see them as nuisances to be dealt with, you are going to be miserable where ever you live. Also, just because you don't remember signing the paperwork saying if you terminate your lease early you will be responsible for concessions doesn't mean it didn't happen. And no, I don't work for the apartments, but it just annoys me to see people blame everyone else for their unhappiness. Meet your neighbors, be nice to them and they will be nice to you. If they aren't, then escalate it properly. If the apartment mgmt isn't giving satisfaction, call the police dept and get that on file. once you have that paperwork, if the leasing office isn't giving you satisfaction, call their home office. With the "stay tuned" attitude, you are looking for a fight with them. Stop whining and fix it.
