Centennial was our home for the past 21 months, at the beginning it was fairly decent. HOWEVER, once reality hit it was worst than my friends complex in Dekalb County. I always had a feeling someone was in our home. ALWAYS!!!!!!!!! When we re out . The first issue was the Gang of kids who every year seem to choose the my building to be there hanging spot in which 3 of the kids that was affiliated with the group lived in my building. At 11pm-12am the kids are all hanging outside with matches, fireworks and cigarettes, I constantly had to advise the kids who s ages range from 9 to 13 to take there behind home it s late before I call the cops.. Then , it was suspicious cars driving around the neighborhood, after I attempt to get back in my car and drive off they followed behind me with no lights on, I detoured like I was going to the back of the complex and made a quick right into the leasing office parking lot, which at that time the car drove couldn t have made the turn and my 4 year old was in the car. The lighting is POOR, the parking is POOR, the management sucks. May last year, I came home early from work on sunny day, cops was all over the complex, I then realized something happened!!! Management stopped to me in the little gulf cart and ask did I see anyone moving at any point today. I advise no I was just getting home. Is everything ok.. They stated yes, A DirecTV tech was on his cell phone, I heard him state burglary. I asked him what s going, he stated someone broke into 5 different apartments through out the complex and he was calling corporate to request another technician to come and assist so he won t be blamed or a suspect. NO LETTERS were ever released about such break ins. Then, there was a neighbor using the back of the building as a garbage bin That was a RATS HEAVEN, night after night, it was something new for the RATS like they was at a 5 Star Restaurant. I reported that time after time to the leasing office and all they did was cover it up!!!!!! My screen door came off the hinges, after calling the leasing office several times, thinking they would send someone else because obviously they one tech clearly did not know what he was doing, I finally decide to leave it off. NOW, my breaking point in 2009, I purchase a 50inch TV and 48hrs later, I came home and the TV was gone!!!!!!!!!!Nothing else was taking. No force entry NOTHING!!!!!!! After calling the leasing office who showed no interest in what happened and stated the most they can do is discount my rent. WTF' I was FED UP . The detective came out a week after (3/3) no fingerprints nothing was taken. Now I figured, they came in my apartment somehow. I realized there was an attic at my bedroom door when I first moved in. So I ask my one of my girl friends to sit on a chair and while I climb into the attic to see if anyone came move in there. To my surprise there was foot steps from my attic entry to a HUGE WHOLE which from what the detective say it seems like they punched the sheet rock out and pulled it in. The complex did not even offer to move me or anything. After discovering the whole they did nothing to insure my safety. All the debris was left on the other side of my neighbors area. The detective did nothing that day but took pics. At this point I am looking for a new home. I got constant tapping at my door and when ask who is it, I got no answers. The cops came a few times drove around and saw nothing. One day we had a box delivered in wrapping paper after the TV was stolen and once everyone left, it was me and my girl friend getting ready to go get drinks in the house and there was the tapping again w/ N.A. 2 hrs after the tapping was there again, this time I grabbed my knife which I slept with every night since the TV was stolen and my gun under my pillow and called the cops. My peep hole has paint on it so I cant see anything. They didn t find anyone!!!! One morning I was sleep, when I should have been to work, and heard steps above me, then a run across the house heading towards the hole. I called 911 an officer came out, advised me the whole was still in my attic. Couldn t believe the complex did nothing to secure it, went to my neighbors house and she complained about a noise that work her up at 3am. Officer went into her ceiling and found what appeared to be a freshly cut hole in her attic also . Now, I m packing and getting the apartment ready to move even though the leasing office REFUSED to break my lease. I realized they came back a 2nd time. My L.V duffle bag was gone out of my coat closet in which a good friend bought me who is now deceased, my PS and the DTV Access Card in which the Plasma TV was connected to was gone. An officer came got a report and told me to leave .. My neighbor whom I never saw before came to my home and told me about the hole in her attic called the leasing office on speaker phone advising of the holes and repair they stated their not construction workers and don t do repairs. After advising I Team will be contacted, they stated a worker will be sealing both units. That s when a letter went out stating the was aware of an incident which is a lie. They knew about it on 2/23. If your thinking about moving here please DON T. DO YOUR RESEARCH if you need a second opinion. Thanks

WOW!!! I'm so sorry for that to have happened to you and to have the police to do nothing about is a shame. Even after you discovered there was an WHOLE in a attic that you didn't know that was there. I hope that you have moved and started a LAW suite against this company.

We've been looking for a place for a long time and I've done a lot of research in the Alpharetta/Roswell area, but this is by far the worst of them all! I'm glad I didn't waste my time reading the other reviews and I'm so sorry that you had to live in such a threatening environment with incompetent people to manage the place. LMAO I bet management is scrambling now to come up with false ratings raving about how perfect this place is after this review. They'll need it if they don't make some BIG changes. A huge thank you for saving us time AND money.

Unbelievable that you had to go through thatI hope you took pictures of all the holes. Go to a lawyer. Get all the police reports . Your neighbors name and phone number and take the management company to court. Have them pay for your stolen property, the cost of your having to move and your attorney's fees!

Wow!!! Thank you for this review. After being burglarized at the last place I lived, the last thing I want is to move into the same situation.
