I lived at Grande Oaks for two very, very long years. I am not sure what was worse - the black mold growing all over the apartment, the dog ---- that littered the grounds, the drunken frat boys that lived above us and throw up all over our bedroom window...the list goes on. The entire staff - Lauren & April especially, were rude and obnoxious, and treat their tenants like crap.

The mold was the worst part. I have two dogs that had no health issues prior to moving into this complex. After living there for 6 months, BOTH dogs started to have seizures, and now take diazapane (sp) to control the instances.

I can't agree enough with the negative comments on this board. While the rent is competitive and the apartments are good sized, everything else just stinks - literally (oh, I should have mentioned the gigantic, disgusting trash heaps that pile up over holiday weekends when the maintenances people are not around to compress - enjoy the 4th of July - the steamy summers do wonders for these piles of garbage).
