The management staff is what made me decide to purchase a home

The community is very nice and quiet but the staff is the worst. It rained and my ceiling leaked profusely and the problem was not taken care of until 2 weeks later. Maintenance actual left a big bucket in my bedroom. Repairs (no matter how simple) always took at least a week. The gate was stuck one night, although our access cards worked, the gate didn't. After several emergency calls from tenants, no one ever came to let us in the gate. If you leave a voice mail for the office, good luck on getting a return call. Loved my neighbors, but could not deal with management.

I live at Grande Oaks and I have never had a problem with the gate or maintenance. As a matter of fact everything that I have ever asked them to fix, was done the same day! You most likley never paid your rent either!

I am an attorney, licensed with the state bar of ga. I am employed with Troutman Sanders (I'll let you google it) I have a very generous income. I just purchased a home in the Roswell area and actually paid my rent until December 31st (end of lease), although I have already moved into my new home. I have never been late on rent and find it hilarious that your poverty mentality would lead you to assume that complaint equals inability to pay. This is a site for consumer reviews. What I suggest is that you leave your positive remarks and I will leave mine. Potential renters will take into account the reviews and make an informed decision based on the reviews. Therefore, respect my opinion and I will respect yours. I also suggest that you research landlord / tenant rights and duties and you will find that the landlord's duty to repair is not contingent upon the tenant paying rent on time. Thanks for your response and I hope that I have responded in a respectable manner as I don't encourage ignorance. God bless you and your home.

I agree, the maintenance people never came to fix our leaky water heater. There was so much mold in the water closet it was unhealthy. Also, when moving to a new apartment, the manager/employee or whoever it was took forever to fill out the lease history and actually hung up on my new landlord after several inquiries about the delay. The apartments aren't very nice, the plumbing is really poorly done (our water pipe broke in the wall) and the gate was a real hassle. It slammed on my car on multiple occasions, even though I had a gate card and did everything normally. Now my car has scratches on the roof and I'm thinking about billing them. And the first person to respond to this comment was clearly the jerk who worked in the office. Someone pooped in the pool and he did nothing about it....

My parents vehicle was scratched by the gate when they came to visit me once. I had a horrible experience living at Grande Oaks back in 2004-2005 and couldn't wait to get out of there. Doesn't look like much has changed with the management staff. However the maintenance crew we had back then were better. The guy we had Igor was really good. The management team probably scared him away. Anyhow, congragulations on your new home "iamtrue".
