This complex is the worst I have ever lived in. I have waited on the staff of Kingsbridge Apts to have some things fixed in my apt. since December of 2002. First, it started with my folding doors, hanging off their hinges which I informed them of. I further explained to them that I have a small child who I did not want smashing his hands in the door, so if they could fix it ASAP, that would be greatly appreciated. Well, ASAP turned into March 2003...Yes!!! Now, let me add that they made about 2 or 3 trips during the Dec. to March timeframe, supposedly fixing but it turns out all they were doing was rigging the doors. So, everytime I touched one, they would fall off the hinges. I called one last time in March to have them come back out again. However, no one ever came back and every time I call the office to get someone BACK out there, they never heard of my workorder to begin with. So, I ended up dropping that matter as my AC is now the problem. It appears that it would run for a few days and then shut off. I called maintenance at which time they came out and fixed it--supposedly. However, within a week?s time, the AC was out again. I called the office and asked them to send someone over to fix it and the apt Mgr stated it would be taken care of before I got home that day. Needless, to say it was not and it felt like 100 degrees in my apt. I then had to place a fake emergency call as if my toilet was leaking, just so they would come back out to fix my AC. They did come by and guess what...it was rigged per the exact words of the "maintenance man" to run for a few more days. I was then promised a new circuit board as that appeared to be the problem which I have yet to receive--this was supposedly ordered 2 mths ago. I have been very patient with this community but it is impossible to continue to live with such incompetent people. If you try to call and ask for their corporate number, the staff will become very irate and rude with you and will refuse it. I actually had to call their main office in another state, just to get the number to their office here in Atlanta.
