I'm a resident at walton centennial.
i've been here now just over a year. i just renewed recently.
then rental increase was only like 3 %. is that really that bad'! i lived at another complex a few years back that gave me a deal of $650 when i moved in, and then at renewal hiked the price up to $810. so, 3 - 4 % isnt so bad to me. i do agree that the kids can get out of control. but, the complex does offer 24 hour courtesy officer that i think lives on site. its the responsibility of the parents here thats lacking and not the lack of concern from the staff. i've never had a problem with the staff. and they arent monsters the way some of these testimonials would make them out to be. theyre always doing things that i can see when i'm coming home or going to the mailhouse. like free super bowl parties, and kids parties and a mommy program. and in the newsletters theres always senior stuff. i've had maintenece issues myself, as i would if i owned a home or rented anywhere else, but the maintenence guy has always gotten the job done and i've had some conversations with him, and hes a real nice guy.
i dont know the office staff real well, but when i go to pickup a package or when i call the office, they are ALWAYS nice. theyre doing their job. i have a sneaking suspision that maybe some of the residents writing all negative comments about the complex and staff maybe has had some issues with them regarding complaints people have made against them maybe because at some point they have been guilty of being the noisy neighbor, or maybe deliquent on rent so theyre upset at how much it is. i would like to see some of the dog poop picked up. i've stepped in it before. but, i do see the gentleman outside religiously cleaning up the trash and doggie doo. but again, its the pet owner responsibility to have enough respect for their home and for the people who maintain our home to take a bag with them and pick it up. and disipline their children. youi cant expect the apartment manager to mother your children for you, i'm sure she has a family and a home of her own to maintain. as for the pool... its sparkling. see it any day of the week for yourself. MILK'' come on.

have we lost ourselves in misery so much that we have to make a complaint about everything. enjoy life for a minute and quit bitching about it.
and as for anyone coming to live in this community. its lovely, its clean, its safe.

i've lived in a lot of cities, in a lot of apartments, and i'm going to be a little sad when my job transfers me someplace else, cause i like it here.
