I've never seen a complex go so downhill after a management change (apparently there have been several).
My roommate and I signed a 6-month lease, but when we moved, the new manager said we were on the lease for a year. Even though it was their mistake (and my stupidity for not double checking the lease), we had to pay to break the lease. The neighbors were made up of strippers and drug dealers, and I felt very unsafe. The pool was large, but dirty. I wouldn't even attempt to frequent the hot tub! I couldn't get out of there quickly enough!
