I lived in Calibre Brooke for almost three years. I told the so called "management" that I would NOT be renewing my lease at least six months in advance of my lease expiring. Of course, when it was time to move, they had no recollection of my notice and said that it never reached their office. However, they never had a problem receiving and cashing my rent checks!! HA!! Go figure. Maintenance came into my apartment with muddy shoes and I still never received my complimentary carpet cleaning when I renewed my lease. The manager ------ is a total and complete BI**H. What ever happened to -----' He was great. Since his departure, Calibre Brooke has went from Sugar to Sh**. Please don't get caught up by the looks of the pool. It's nice, but that is about the only thing good about Calibre Brooke apartments. Management sucks!! Maintenance even made a move on one of my friends who stayed at my apartment so that there would be someone there when they showed up. Then had the audacity to give her the security code to the gate so that he could visit with her after hours!! Not to mention he's MARRIED!!! What a load of crap this bunch is full of!! STEER CLEAR OF THESE APARTMENTS!!! The rent is too high for the old and cheap appliances they have in the apartments and rude service from the staff is ridiculous!!

Read your lease agreement, dear. You have to provide a notice IN WRITING, and if you didn't do that or didn't have then initial a copy of it for your own records, that's YOUR problem. But you're right about the office manager... she can be rude.

Are you a member of the staff at Calibre Brooke DEAR?? Sure sounds like it. Just for the record, I DID submit my notice in writing. Maybe YOU lost it, since no one in that office knows what happened to it.

That's hilarious! Anyone having anything positive to say about management is either part of management or an absolute LOSER. Those people are the WORST.

But you didn't do as the first responder suggested: get a copy SIGNED BY THE MNGT, for your records. And B4 you declare that I'm related to the mngt in any way, I never even HEARD of this place until I started looking around in January 2009 for a place to move to. I don't know the mngt; I don't want to know the mngt. Your relationship w/ them is a business one, not a PERSONAL one. Also, if you disliked the place so much, why'd you stay for several years?
