I lived at Calibre Brooke from 12/05 to 9/07, and never regretted my decision. I had previously lived in a smaller complex in Buckhead, but decided to move a bit further out to get a nicer, gated place that was still affordable. Thank goodness Calibre Brooke's ratings were extremely high when I was looking for a place, because I never regretted living there. In my experience, the staff was great. The maintenance guys are terrific. Both are friendly, discreet, and efficient. Heck, if I wasn't so broke when I lived there, I would've wanted to tip them. They deserve it (sorry I could only afford the sentiment, guys--really appreciated you!) The women in the leasing office are also professional, friendly, and efficient, and one in particular is also quite warm. I never had a problem with any staff member at Calibre Brooke. In fact, one time I got into a bind and they worked with me and were really kind about it. Also, when I moved out I got nearly all of my deposit back. A month later, they sent me another $30, noting a mistake in the original check. Would I have noticed' Nope! How could I' But they did the right thing, and that showed integrity. I also thought the grounds were always lovely--clean, well-kept, and beautifully landscaped. And the price was a bargain for what you got. You could pay more elsewhere, but I don't see anyone offering more than what you get at Calibre Brooke. If you're considering it, don't let the P.O.'d reviewers dissuade you. It's not perfect, but no place is. It *is* a really nice, safe, peaceful and lovely place to live. I doubt I'll be moving back to Atlanta, but if I ever did, I would definitely look into living at Calibre Brooke again. It felt like home to me. That's about the highest recommendation I can give.
