First, know that I had a HORRIBLE experience in my last Metro Atlanta apartment, so I truly appreciate living here.

I've been in Calibre Brooke over a year and recently renewed through 08. I'm in a one bed/one bath with a sunroom (and balcony); the price is reasonable for the amount of space. I've only had to submit two maintenance requests (leaky faucet and leaky shower head); each was address within 24 hours. The staff always speak/wave when they see you and they're very friendly when you go into the office. The pool is nice and well kept; the fitness center is small and not often used (from what I've seen). The laundry facility is okay but most people buy or rent a washer/dryer (only $51 per month through Azuma).

The grounds are well kept, but sometimes the mailbox area gets messy - usually over the weekend because people dump large bags of trash there instead of taking them to the compactor. You WILL see cockroaches in summer, but that's to be expected with the heat and humidity. I've seen more of them outside than inside my apartment and when I do find them in my apartment, they're usually dead already. They spray regularly and will come out for special requests if you've been seeing a lot of bugs inside. I've only noticed noise from the Air Force base when I've been home during the day and it's just for 5 minutes or so. The traffic on Cobb Pkwy is bearable and workable, but, of course, worse during rush hour. In all, it's a nice, quiet place to live with easy access to 75 & 285, shopping, and entertainment. I've never seen the security gate broken or out of order for more than 48 hours. I'd pick here over any other property on the area. When I leave, it'll be to move out of the area or into a house.
