Disappointed Potential Resident

Today I stopped by the leasing office around 1:00PM to take a tour of the complex like I've done maybe 15 times so far in the area as I m searching for an apartment to lease. I came in and sat down. I was approached by an older woman who asked me what she could do for me today. I don't know why she bothered asking this, I believe her response would have been the same regardless. But, I told her that I was interested in viewing a few apartments. She then said and I quote, "Well, someone stopped by yesterday at closing and was not able to view any apartments. They just called and said they are on the way. I paused to wait for her to make a point. Then she said Can you come back in an hour and a half' THE END

Well, I have no problem with giving up my time to someone that has made an appointment, but the person wasn t there yet not even in the parking lot! What she should have said was, well, I have an appointment that is on the way, but until then, what are you looking for' I can get you some pricing information and then we can setup an appointment. She offered me no choice but to leave empty handed. If this is the customer service available to a potential resident, I can only imagine if I d already signed a lease.

Maybe this person was just having a bad day, because I have always gotten good service from this apartment complex and its personel. To the point that I have signed a second lease with them for another year. Everyone and I quote Everyone in that office including Maintenance are very friendly and helpful. So maybe this person just wanted too take out their fustrations on someone and chose one of the employes here at Calibre Brooke. As for the older Lady she is a very sweet lady and always making cutomers feel like they are at home, so It is very hard too think she would say something like that out of the way too a customer/future resident. Every complex have qualification standards, if you don't meet them don't be angry just say thank you and either try again next time or try another complex. Don't get angry and make negative comments about the complex and it's employes. They need too grow up!!!!!!!!!!!!! How can you put such low ratings and in your statement you said you didn't get too see the property.GET IT STRAIGHT NOW.

I think whoever wrote this review is very wrong. How can you give ratings for things such as safety, grounds, parking.... if you did not get a tour? That right there makes your entire review invalid. I love living at Calibre Brooke. I believe that the only reason you were asked to come back was so that you could be treated personally and not be rushed. You should reconsider opening your mouth again since you seem to contradict yourself.

I am the individual who wrote the original review. And I will address what's been said because I stand by the words. I did not call anyone an old lady. I said older. So, let's not twist words to try to make your point clearer. I have no credit/background issues that would cause me to not be able to move into any complex. And even if I did, she would have never known because ALL she said is come back in an hour and a half. In the service industry, there is very little room for "bad days" and why should someone's bad day be taken out on a potential resident who is just interested in your complex as their new home. Like I said, I have no problem giving up my time for someone with an apointment, but the person wasn't there yet. She could have @ the very least given me a packet of information for 1 and 2 bedrooms - maybe referred me to the website. She didn't even ask me my name. As far as the ratings, apartmentratings.com doesn't allow you NOT to answer those questions (safety, parking, maintenance) so I just left them with the default values. If possible, I would have left those blank. I signed with AMLI@West Paces and qualified (credit/background) the same day, and I love my new home. Everyone is friendly, and I couldn't be happier!

Hey I also just went there for a tour of the place and the older lady her name is Cindy she told me "well, I have to go feed a cat. Can you come back later?" Can you believe that? I was so shocked I wanted to cry. I was wondering what just happened. Maybe because of the color of my skin. Hey author, are you black or hispanic. Please tell me no.

As a potential resident, the only reviews worth a damn are those concerning the experiences of RESIDENTS who can talk about what it's like to live here day after day. Apart from you "potential residents", I see nothing negative from those who live at this place. When I dropped in to take a tour, I had no problems with the gal who took me around. But even if I did, I don't draw big conclusions from 1 hour's worth of experience with ONE person.

To the potential residents who keep posting horrible reviews of this complex, please stop doing that. I'm looking for a new apartment and I want to hear from people who actually live there. I'm not interested in racist accusations or weird scenarios. Please stop dumbing down the ratings with your rants.
