When I first moved in I loved my apartment, but the apartment was not quite ready: there was a huge stain on the carpet(which I took care of myself since they were dragging their feet) , burn marks on my bathroom sinks and the master bedroom door was a little stiff.

It was a good location, quiet (but the walls are thin you can hear your neighbors and they can hear you, but I have pretty good neighbors we can just hear eachother having sex ), they offered great amenities and fairly clean. However maintenance is a joke if you ever have a problem don't count on it being fixed! my master bedroom toilet stayed broken for the entire year long lease after numerous complaints. They came to the apartment several times( I was never there) and left the yellow notes as if they fixed it but it would be in the same condition( this is with everything I had a problemn with from the toilet to the garbage disposal).

The only props I can give is to say that they came and fixed my front door liner after complaining about the huge roaches that were getting into my apartment! and they seem to fix the gate pretty quickly when the weekly driver crashes through it!

I almost got electricuted when I unplugged a fan in my master bedroom and I had to call the fire department ( the agent refused to come to my apartment) because I was awakened out of my sleep choking ( and hearing my young child choking) to some type of smell less fume in the air.

After spending a lovely 4 hours with the fire department Scanna Gas showed up to let me know it was methane! I was not compensated, I had to stay away from my apartment for two days and I was simply told oh that could have happened anywhere. i doubt that because the shady maintenance had just been over the previous week to so called fix the faulty kitchen sink disposal that could have killed both me and my child!

I am just counting down the days for my lease to be over and I am sure they will come up with something wrong to try and get a few more pennies. The apartments need upgrades and are not worth what they charge to stay here it is not luxury, oh and if you have a child that will ride the bus look at S.Cobb as you turn in that is the bus stop ( good luck on keeping your child from being run down)!
