Stay Away!!!!

I moved into these apartments in 2000 and they were very nice apts. Maintenance was responsive and the management was on top of all requests.
However, since First Worthing bought the property it has gone downhill!!!
I now feel like I am living in the ghetto, having had to call the police two times in the last 3 months due to violence in and around the apartment building I live in. The majority of the residence used to be single professionals, and loud noise was never an issue. This is no longer the case. Take a drive through the complex and take a look at some of the vehicles and individuals loitering around on the property and you will understand where I am coming from.
Also, this apt. has huge problems with their plumbing. A pipe bursts nearly every week and floods apts. We experienced on of these burst pipes for the first time about two months ago at 3:00 AM in the morning. Luckily we live on the top floor so it was not that big of a deal for us, but the two apts. below us were heavily damaged. The maintenance man so much as admitted that there are problems with the plumbing and that they no longer manufacture the type of plumbing that is in the complex due to all the problems they had with pipes bursting. You would think they would replace the pipes if they had so many problems with this. If I am not mistaken, the law allows for you to sue a landlord over a problem that they knew about and if it caused damage to your property then the apartment can be held liable. You would think they would be smart enough to make the changes.
Needless to say this is a nightmare of a place and it is time to move!!!
