My apartment has had so many maintenance problems it is ridiculous! It has flooded out too many times to count...(my apartment is on the bottom) and the A/C from the 2 apts above me backed up and my hallway, laundry room, and doorway to my bedroom and down the hallway to the bathroom completely flooded, and it took maintenance about 4 weeks to respond. The apt above mine leaks into my laundry room, and it leaks in the ceiling in the bathroom (right over the toliet...), and I had a horrible problem when a PIPE BUSTED between the 2nd and 3rd floors...All the water came down into my apartment, and DESTROYED my pantry, and flooded my front and back hallways. All in all, I had mold & mildew on the walls and baseboards in the laundry room, and my pantry was completely green, carpet destroyed...Maintenance team was completely ineffective. When I reported the leak from the busted pipe, the maintenance man disconnected my water heater, presuming that was the problem since the water was seeping through the bottom of the wall, and I was the one to infact inform him that I believed a pipe had burst above me. I was left without hot water for three days (unnecessarily) AND he complained about having to work on the weekend!! (I reported the problem in the middle of the week, but it took him till the weekend to get around to it)I finally had to get the manager of EPT to come and look at my apartment...I only got one month of free rent, even though my apartment was flooded for about 4 months total, and some of my belongings had been destroyed. They had some "repairs" made as well, but they were mediocre, and I refuse to put any of my food back into that pantry.
And everyone else's complaints are right too...There are tons of young kids around here that are unsupervised, and people are always blocking the road by the mailboxes with their cars because they are too lazy to pull into the parking space right beside the mailboxes. The staff in the office are incompetent and rude. My lease is up this month and I am moving...I would never rent another apartment managed by EPT Management.
