I lived at this complex for 1 1/2 years. Initially it seemed clean, friendly and quiet. Less then a week or two after I moved in, the management changed. The front gate was ALWAYS broken, and sometimes took hours for anybody to come and fix it. About a month or two after I was there, my laundry room started to smell strongly of gas. We asked the maintenance people to come and look at it. We got a note that nothing was wrong, and they didn't smell anything. Now, believe me when I tell you that as soon as you walked in the door *BOOM* you could really smell it. We had headaches constantly, and had them come out again, explaining that there is SOMETHING leaking. Another note "Nothing wrong" We paid for a third party person to come in who instantly found the leak! We brought in the maintenance guy a 3rd time, watched while he inspected and said "Nothing Wrong" and pointed out the leak to him. He THEN fixed it, and we were not reimbursed for having the 3rd party guy come out... Then we started getting notices all the time about our dogs using the front lawns as a bathroom, and being off leash. If our dogs were off leash, they wouldn't stay around long enough to use the lawn as a bathroom, they would be long gone! After the 8th notice, we told them if they didn't stop we would take them to court for harassment....notices stopped. Then, a week before Christmas, a pipe sprung a leak in the apartment behind us and our floors got saturated. Nobody came out to fix it for hours! Our apartment was soaked, and several of our belongings had gotten wet as well. They finally came out, and all they did was leave fans blowing through the apartment all day and tore up the padding under the carpet. It took them 3 DAYS to come in and replace the padding!!!! 3 days of living with a wet smelly floor... and they never offered to pay for other accomodations. They never did replace the carpet itself, which had been damaged when they pulled it up. Finally we left, and they had nerve to not only keep all of our deposits (2 pet deposits and our security deposit) but they charged us $500 more to replace the carpet which THEY ruined!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE TROUBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!
