I broke my lease at this place. It is unsafe. Weekly gun shots, apartments full of roaches, stabbings, constant drug deals, car break ins and apartment break ins. All of these things taken place with a "quote" courtesy officer. Mind you he only comes out to hand out notices. We called for his assistance on 3 occasions. He never showed up.
The manager there could care less about the going ons here. She doesn't have to live there. I bet if she did, her tune would change.
My worst fear is that a stray bullet is going to hit and kill someone there. It is only a matter of time, considering there were weeks when you'd hear gun shots 3 days a week.
They work with bad credit, but you can find something much better than this with credit issues. Just keep looking.
Also they gouge you on the water bills. They charge like $22 a month per person on the lease. Since moving out of there my water bill went from $65 through them, down to $16 a month using our county water and sewer authority. I use more water here, because I wash my cars now. Rent is too high there as well. The apartments are old, and not well kept. The foundations of many buildings are cracked from the ground up to the top floor apartment. Also the kids in there will not move for any cars. They are rude and in need of some parental guidance terribly bad. Parking is a joke. Also they knowingly rented a 1 br apartment to a family of 6, which goes against HUD guidelines. They just don't care. All they want is your money. They do not care about your safety, or else they'd do something about it. Brandy needs to be replaced.

Update............FUNNY thing here. 2 days after I made this 100% honest post about this complex Cumberland run decides to file a legal claim against me. Now granted I did break my lease, but I will make sure to go to court with police reports in hand(If I can lift that much weight) as to how unsafe this complex is. This is the ONLY reason I moved out. I am not one who didn't pay my rent for 6 months straight. I paid my rent each month, but moved out due to safety reasons. When 2 gun shots go off directly behind your building it is time to go, which is what we did. Some innocent person is going to end up killed due to all of these random gun shots. If God forbid that does happen you have my rating here to vouch for it, and go after them with all that you've got. Brandy was informed about EVERYTHING GOING ON IN THERE, AND SHE DID NOTHING AT ALL. SO so many people are moving out of there, because it is unsafe and overpriced. I can also tell you for a fact that those who gave good reviews on here were given 1/2 off of their rent to do the positive reviews. They are hog wash, and please do not believe them. I personally know one of the ones who gave a good review on here, and she constantly talks about how bad it is in there and she wants to move out. She is a single Mom who ONLY did this to get help with her rent. ; )
