Gables Vinings

This is not a biased or malformed opinions. This is simply what occurred while we lived at Gables Vinings. We lived at Gables Vinings for two years. We had some problems. Firstly, NEVER let them accept packages for you. I had three packages, on separate occasions, that were dropped off in the office per UPS and signed for by a staff member only be told that they were missing when I went to pick them up. They refused to do anything about this and said that they were not liable for packages. Someone has/had a theft problem. The treadmill in the workout facility has been broken for 2 years. When we moved in I ran on it for about a month, it broke and they NEVER fixed it, in fact if you go in there right now its the one of the right I bet its stuck on the highest incline level and won't come down. We had a massive sugar ant problem more than once and had to call the pest control folks numerous times to come and spray. They never spray unless you call. Not once did they come on their own. We also were without air conditioning in the middle of June for four days. We repeatedly called maintenance and no one came. The staff turns over like a leaf in the wind and some are REAL JERKS. The staff right now seems to be the worst. The pool can get really crowded and really dirty (as in not clean, not smutty) in the heat of summer. Our neighbors were very nice, I really liked everyone I met who lived there. I generally felt safe and felt the living conditions were average. Aside from the issues with the staff, lack of pest control and sometimes slow maintenance response it wasn't all that bad. My last word of warning ...EXPECT TO BE CHARGED FOR LOTS OF STUFF WHEN MOVING OUT. We probably paid for three apartments to get re-floored.
