Walton Park was an o.k. place to live before it was sold to and named "Glen Park". The grounds were kept nicely and the staff was friendly. It felt safe and family oriented. Granted the buildings could have been kept in a little better condition and reconstructed because of age and wear, but overall it was a desent place to live in comparison to some. On top of other things such as in Phase 1, the kitchen sinks have one sink hole, no sprayer in the kitchen sink, poor drainage, visible drywall patch jobs, old stoves and the length of time that it takes for your hot water to actually get hot, living here now is absolutely aweful! The maintance staff don't have professional looking uniforms because apparently they will get too dirty and the company doesn't require any certain uniform. They are contracting groundsmen and you have no idea who they are because they are not uniformed. Not sure whether or not to let the maintance workers in, can't tell who they are. The trash compactor is always "broken" therefore always FULL. The gates are always broken and it takes days for the new staff to repair them. It feels totally different. The grounds are not as clean and the walkways are blown occasionally.
If you want to feel at home when you come home, don't move to Glen Park! Find an apartment that is worth your money or just get a house!!
