In reply the 2/9/08 review, I must let you know that things have changed drastically. I live here and have lived for the past year and a half. First off, I don't understand why a review from someone who lived here FIVE (5) years ago should even be considered for any type of recommendation. This property, since 2003, has gone through TWO (2) management companies. And the latest one has invested a lot money in enhancing the community. For instance, we have a Brand New state of the art fitness center, with two (2) certified Personal Trainers. These trainers also offer free personal training sessions for all residents. Secondly, the apartments all undergo enhancements, such as new appliance packages and brushed nickel hardware and light fixtures. As for the service received from the Leasing Office, I've, in my experience with customer service, have realized your approach is what can make or break your circumstance. If you have a need, don't go with an attitude of negativity. Be positive and positive things will happen for you.

Just to correct you on one of your statements. The fitness center has only one certified personal trainer. His name is Ron and he has been more than helpful and nice. Go check him and the fitness center out some time. The gym does have a lot of new and good equipment but to use the phrase "state of the art" is stretching it a little bit for it is not an Olympic gym or something to that extent.

Forget approach...obviously you know nothing about customer svc. The first rule is to make an angry customer into a satisfied customer. If I have a problem or complaint, I probably will not be happy, but I will be professional - and I expect the same. However, that has not been my experience and I have never seen a community when I cannot escalate my situation to the sorry Property Mgr - I had to involve the local authorities....So much for customer service.. And to all the other lovely tenants, from my understanding First Communities has also been bought out (I learned from my friends in Real Estate)..and the new company could give a Damn about you or anyone else. I loved my apartment and the community is ok, but as the others have stated, when a real problems arises, you are SOL.
