Keeneland Farms a nice place to live but I would not recommend it to friends for the following reasons:
* Lack of communication and follow -up from management when residents have questions or concerns
* Lack of basic knowledge of by office staff when work is to be done in a particular unit
*In order to get anything done with efficiency, you must go straight to the property manager
* On a more positive note, the fitness center is state of the art and the "bootcamp" was great idea to get people motivated to get fit and healthy.

I've resided on the property for 8 years and have seen worse, but I have also seen better.

Finally, someone seems to have honesty and I would say common sense except for the fact you've been there 8 years. Hmmn! That one has me baffled!! Okay, so you like the "bootcamp" too but I'm sorry, that's the least of most people's concern, especially when their apartment is falling apart. It's an insult to pump-up bootcamp when people have gaping holes in the floors and feces on carpets from jacked up plumbing. Ya know what I mean??

I understand and appreciate your comment. However, I can only speak to my experiences. Although I beleive that the office staff is in desperate need of professionalism, I've been relatively successful in getting the necessary repairs. My frustration is that my success required going to the top;which would not be necessary if the other positions were filled with competent people. I truly feel badly for those experiencing such deplorable conditions and are being mistreated. Having friends who reside on properties that would be considered upscale and listening to their gripes about their properties, I conclude that there are issues on ALL properties. Of course the older properties are going to have more issues that the newer ones. I would not be concerned in the least about breaking a lease agreement if my unit had a fraction of the issues that yours has. I enjoy reading the reviews but I never reply because everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion, just take care about judging others' reviews as everyone's experience is different. Some of us choose to resolve our issues in a not so public manner. Thanks again for your comment and I wish you well.
