Ex employee chiming here. First of all I come to you guys from the standpoint of someone who not only worked for Keeneland Farms Mgt Staff, but was also a resident within the apartment community. I must say, I am a little surprised at how much negative content is out there about the Keeneland Farms community. I mean yeah, I ve seen some stuff as both a manager and a resident that I wasn t too pleased with, but overall, I found the majority of the residents to be hard-working people who cared about where they lived. Being on the inside as head of security and fitness center director, I also saw a lot of the staff dedicated to their jobs at making Keeneland Farms a better place to work and live. I know there are more upscale communities in the area but seriously, some of you guys make it sound like its the projects! Do you realize they have taken this community to a new level from where it was when I first got there and yes, they did spend more than two million dollars in renovations. They even lowered their credit standards to give common families a chance at having a nice place to call home. Hell, maybe that was part of the problem maybe they shouldn t have been so lenient with the application process, because a lot of the bad I saw came from those unruly tenants with unruly children. I m just saying, home is what you make it, and I came into contact with a good portion of the community and only a few bad apples in both the offices and among the residents can give the impression that it s a terrible place, but I just didn t see it that way. And believe me, I no longer work there, so I have nothing to gain by saying this. I saw first hand the management team and staff working day and night to please both existing residents and new residents alike. I worked in the office as well when they were short of staff, so I saw it from that angle as well. I m not saying the place was perfect, but I don t agree that it is as horrific as the collective on this board is saying. A lot of you are going to disagree with me and hell, it is your experience, but I m just saying personally, I was never there for the money, it was always about the people and that IS how the majority of my co-workers felt and behaved as well. Yep, Ron, I think you're part of that "lying staff"! Nothing in the the history proves you are right! So what millions were spent!! Millions more was needed. And besides, who'd they contract with...Pepe Le Pew (without credentials)? From the looks of the renovations, Keeneland got ripped off. But let's get serious, you can't claim millions were spent and expect it to suffice when millions more were needed. "Hell", who are you kidding? They lowered the credit standards for that reason. Just another lying staffmember. OOps...ex-staff! Hmmn! Find another job?? My recommendation: Change the advertisement to read, "Keeneland Farms Project and Sub-standard Living"
