Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004
I moved to LT in May of 2002. The apartment had recently been renovated, so they were still in nice shape. I wouldn't consider the complex to be "Luxury", but they were in nice shape. The Location was great, Office Staff was nice, especially Amanda, Jennifer, and Cynthia! I've never had a problem with the staff.
When I first moved in I had a bug problem, milipedes- didn't know where they were coming from but they were everywhere. The problem has been solved since.
I've always stayed on the top floor so no problems with neighbors or noise. The quality of neighbors has gone down. Also, children are everywhere in this community. I don't know which one is worse the Geese or the Children.....neither will stay out of the streets. lol!
The gate is always broken, as far as people breaking it to get in. One way in, one way out!
Pricey, but you are paying for the location. You're 10 minutes from downtown, easy access to 285, 75, Cobb Parkway, Mall, and other area attractions. When my special ran out, it jumped from 621 to 699 a month for a one bedroom. When they renewed my lease for the second year, they gave me the option of one month free or the one mone prorated through out the year lease. Then when they attempted to get me to renew again, possibly year 3, they tried to offer me the same special. Instead of the option they just gave me one month free prorated over the 12 moth lease. (Not at all inticing)
Overall, I probably would have moved after my first year, but it was so convienent I just didn't feel like moving.
The parking could be waaaay better for the back of the apartment complex where building 18, 17 and 19 are.......but the nieghbors are nicer back there!
The trash area was just updated. They now have paper and plastic recycling bins.
My stay was nice, but I believe it's my time! Good Luck on your search!
