I've lived at Oak Park of Vinings for 2 years now, and I've seen it go through many changes. I read the review before and was quite shocked by the comments made. I've never had a problem with management or maintenance. I'm always greeted with a smile, and they always know exactly who I am and my apartment number when I go in.

Obviously if you live in apartment communities you have to be tolerant of certain things.

First of all, I dont know any apartment community that let's you use grills on your patio. There are charcoal grills on the property that we can use.

I happen to know they are pet friendly because I have a pet myself. The manager is such a pet lover that she asked me to bring him to visit when I first moved in. There are several areas that pets can be walked and the responsible pet owners take advantage of the pet stations provided.

The community went through a major renovation before I moved in and they continue to do things such as resurfacing the tennis courts and new playground equipment. It's not a brand new community but it's definitely nice for the price.

The person who reviewed the property has definitely had a different living experience than I have. Have you ever lived in an apartment that notified you when they were going to mow the grass' Better yet, what apartment has fire escapes' If you are afraid of a fire dont live on a top floor. Friendly neighbors' I'm sure management had control on whether your neighbor speaks to you or not. Maybe it's the person who's complaining because my neighbors are quite friendly and speak in passing. As for the pool, I am still taking my kids to the pool on the weekends. There were a few days that the pool was green, but that was nothing compared to the last place I lived where the city closed it down. I love the fact that they kept it open past Labor Day because we've had such beautiful weather.

I love living here, but I've noticed since more people moved in that not everyone thinks of this as home like me. I have many times picked up peoples bottles and trash that they leave on the sidewalk or I've had to throw peoples bags of trash in the dumpster because I guess it was too difficult for them to open a door.

Overall, I have enjoyed my living at Oak Park of Vinings. I just signed my second lease and am happy calling it home. I guess if you are offended that management does cute things like have people in costume to direct people in, then maybe it's not the place for you. But if you want a spacious apartment for an affordable price in the Vinings area then it's a nice place to be.

You know, after reading reviews for about 20 apartment complexes, it was this one that swayed my opinion to try Oak Park. More than anything, I want a place where at least a few people get the concept of "home". Be looking for my review soon. :)
