HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE. DO NOT LIVE HERE. THE OFFICE STAFF DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ITS RESIDENTS. POOR ATTITUDES. NOT A PLACE TO GIVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO. There have been plenty of times when the office staff is not even at the OFFICE during OFFICE HOURS. They leave and come as they please. How unprofessional'' I was a good resident for a year....and I LEFT. Something was always broken at my apartment and when they claimed to fix the problem, they didn't. My shower knobs were broken, my toilet, my closet.....and the day I moved in last year, a HOT SUMMER DAY, the air conditioning was not working and they were not even concerned about it. I had to BEG to have it working, so my movers and I would not get heat stroke. Another time, I had brown water coming out of my faucets because they had fixed something in the building...and all they told me to do was keep the water running. KEEP IT RUNNING' I had it running for over 30 minutes, and it was still brown. DO THEY PAY MY WATER BILL....no. And when I asked if they would pay for my inconvenience. They declined. I TOOK A BROWN WATER SHOWER THAT NIGHT. YUCK. There are plenty of stories to be told about OAK PARK of VININGS...including the little boys that beg for change in the apt complex laundry mat (I gave them some money, in fear that they would damage or bleach my clothes while they were in the washer). And oh yeah, somebody broke into my mailbox....why' And again, the office staff is the WORST office staff ever. Rosa and Hanna will briefly act a little nice, but darling, they are wolves in sheep's clothing. DON'T MOVE HERE, do your research and move somewhere that cares more about the residents.
