Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2006
I resided at Post Valley from 2002 to 2006. I have observed a precipitous decline in the maintenance and upkeep of the property, the level of customer service by management, and the screening of tenants.
The apartments are functional, nothing fancy or extravagant. With Post Valley being one of the older Post properties in the area, management has definitely loosened its screening criteria to fill vacanies and has not put a lot of money into the upkeep of the complex as you find with other Post properties.
While most of the tenants are not noisy, my upstairs neighbor would listen to television as loud as possible and do calisthenics at 7am. My ceiling work shake vigorously during my neighbor's workout rountine. I also had a side neighbor that had surround sound in his bedroom and again, my bedroom would shake as I would hear cars driving off or doors being slammed on his television.
Overall, the community was functional and inexpensive, but if you are willing to spend more money, you can get a nicer apartment.
