Good for a Landing Zone...

I moved to Post Spring and lived there for the duration of my 6 month lease. I chose not to renew following the close to 15% rent increase that I received.
The complex and units have a LOT of nice, luxury features. I never once felt unsafe, I loved the layout and features of my apartment, and everything was always quiet. Lots of ample parking and the landscaping is fabulous. Great location with an easy commute throughout the Atlanta area.
That being said, my main opinion of this complex is that it is a great place to stay while you are looking for something more permanent. The units are overpriced, and if you come in on a special, you will likely eat it come time for renewal. Post Spring subcontracts to several small utility companies, so don't expect to simply transfer your cable bill here. The high-speed internet company IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Yes, it is nice to be able to plug in your computer on the first day and be online, but really, if I pay $40 a month for service I expect to be able to use my broadband phone. The connection is at times unreliable and almost universally slow. Not a place to plan to telecommute!
Amenities (pool, exercise, etc) are nice. Not a particular social complex (I never once knew a single neighbor's name).
All in all, I recommend, but not if you are looking for a place where you will want to stay for years and years. This is merely a landing zone before you find a better-priced place or purchase a home.
