Well, you must only be dealing with Christine, because when (and if) you ever have to deal with the manager, you know nothing will ever get done. She is an incompetent idiot who rarely (if ever) is doing her job. Apparently, she thinks that if you cover up all of the problems with a little paint and a few flowers, no one will notice the buildings are falling apart, or the constant drug deals, or psychotic neighbors. She must not live here, and must not notice all of the ACTUAL problems in the complex. Oh, I almost forgot about the bratty children who run out in front of your car or mill around, blocking the gates when they get home from school. I guess their parents are too busy smoking dope to notice. Word to the wise--if you are thinking of moving here, don't. If you already live here, write as many letters as you can to anyone over the management's head, even to the Better Business Bureau or the housing authority. I am.

Sounds like the kettle is calling the pot black! There are very few kids living here and I rarely see many. THe manager has been here a long time and has always been nice to me but then again I am always nice to her.

Wow, what part of the apartment do you live in? I have always been leary of apartments, did a lot of ratings search before I moved here in Aug 06...I haven't had the first problem, NEVER seen anything close to being a drug deal around here...very quiet, neighbors keep to themselves and I see a few children here and there but their not crazy devils as you seem to describe, I actually talked to one by the lake and he was a very sweet little boy that was minding his own business. You must be used to royalty but I highly recommend this place as a starter home for familys not ready to buy yet...everything has been fixed thats gone wrong here, my only complaint is we've had troubles with our a/c 3 times now but its always been fixed, should probably be replaced, but over all 8/10.

I suppose it would be nice to never see the drug deals. Did you know there was a heroin bust a few years ago? I am afraid to walk from my car to my door at night, and I make sure I am not being followed. Because the gate is broken, anyone and everyone can come in. I know a guy who's car was busted up right after the gate was broken this last time, and I have been almost run down several times from people coming in the wrong gate going 50 mph. Sure the kids might behave now--school is in. Wait until summer, and you catch them torturing animals like I did. And I wouldn't say that I am used to royalty, just a safe environment for my family--not too much to ask, I think.

If you think you can get away from drugs by moving go ahead. Anyone seen the news lately? How about the grow houses in $300,000 houses and porn shoots in million dollar homes. Give me a break! I never see more than 3 or 4 kids outside at a time and the majority of the time their parents are somewhere in the immediate area watching them. It is so amazingly quiet here I can sleep with the windows open. The gates are broken by dumb ace people who can't drive! How is management supposed to control that? IF YOU SEE DRUG DEALS CALL THE FREAKING COPS!!! Be part of the solution instead of just a complaining, disgruntled jerk.

I have lived in the Park at Vinings for 2 years now and has never ever seen any criminal or drug activity or even close to it. It feels safe here. The kids blocking the gates coming in from school is not a big deal nor a problem at all. THey are kids, heck, they could be throwing rocks at you or cursing you out as you come through the gate but they act like normal kids walking from the bus stop. Whoever said that probably don't have kids nor like kids. I will agree that the quality of customer service goes way down as you exit your lease. We were going to exit last year but didn't for whatever reason and we sort of saw that. Overall it's a nice place to live. I would recommend it. They keep the grounds nice, clean and safe.
