The Park at Vinings

First, let me say that overall, this isn't such a bad place. We were fortunate to have quiet and kind neighbors and I never noticed any criminal activity, etc. going on. However, when we signed our lease, we paid our regular deposit and a $250 pet deposit and never got the refundable portions back. I had a pet for less than a week before realizing my work hours kept me away from home too long to keep him.
One week, and no damage to the apartment whatsoever, and they kept the money anyway. My roomate put up a shelf in the kitchen, and they gave that as the reason for keeping the rest of the lease deposit. Are these people nuts' A weeks worth of dog hair and one shelf are cause to keep over $300' This is a nice complex, but their interest in customer satisfaction drops considerably once the lease is up.

I agree. I am a current resident and I can say that they hardly care for your satisfaction while you're here. They smile these fake smiles and don't even make an effort to be discrete when they blow you off. I say they stop caring once they have the commission.
I have lived here for a little over a month and I have called maintenance at least 6 times. 3 to fix the same thing over and over again. The appliances are old but I never expected them to just NOT WORK. I love the community but the staff and the appliances I could do without.
