Iam a current resident at the Village and I have to say that this complex has recieved more hype than it is worth. I moved in on December of 2006 and I did notice that the cabinets in the kitchen as well as the bathroom are very old with peeled paint. It really did not look as though did any major improvements on the apartment before I moved in. I also waited an hour and a half on the day of my move in for the keys to my apartment. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off. Most of the boarders around the cabinets have already started to fall off. Many of the "nice" ammenities are actually in the leasing office!!! The pet deposit is $500 per pet so imagine if you have two pets!! They also claim to have pet restrictions and I have seen pitbulls as well as German Shepards on the premises as a matter of fact I live next door to one!! when I stated this matter to management they stated to me that they were working on it, mind you the dog is still living next door to me!! My lease is up in December and I have already started looking for other apartments, my apartment is only 680 square feet and Iam paying 675, trust me there are bigger better apartments out there for less money. Also if you do not want to be told what kind of cable to get do not move there currently they must have some sort of agreement with charter communications and they have the worse customer service. All in all I think that the village gets way too much hype and they are really not worth the money!!!
