My fiance and I have lived here since Nov. 2007 and we really love it. The grounds are kept very clean, our unit is up to our standards and the staff is really friendly. Although we love living here, we will not renew our lease when it is up in November because of the SAFETY issues that have arisen recently. There have been at least 3 fires within 2 months and 3 apartment robberies, as well as a robbery at the business center. The first fire was HUGE, it gutted an entire building right behind us. People were wandering around outside for weeks talking to each other and asking, "Have you heard what caused it'" Nobody knew the answer, and all the management did was send out a letter stating some bull crap about "due to the extensive damage, we were not able to determine what started the fire." Pictures of the largest fire are included in this post. Although the leasing office is doing all it can as far as keeping residents informed, I no longer feel safe and it is fairly obvious that the robberies are executed by fellow neighbors. Either that or the front gate staff is not doing their job properly (I wouldn't be surprised, they're terrible). So, just a FAIR WARNING to anyone who is considering this complex. I'd recommend this place to anyone, in fact, I do all the time. But just GET RENTER'S INSURANCE!!! I cannot stress this enough!
