Excellent in most respects.

Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2002
Maintenance is always prompt, and thorough. I had my front door handle get torn off; it was fixed within 2 hours. The grounds are very well kept with good lighting and a well-maintained playground. It is extremely rare, even late at night, to have to walk more than about 20 feet to the front of the building, finding a parking space is never a problem. The front desk is very responsive in all respects (had a key card stolen, they gave me no trouble at all). Appliances are less than 5 years old, and are of good quality. I personally liked the floor plan (walk in pantry and closets, big kitchen), but that's a matter of personal taste. The crime rate in the surrounding neighborhood is very, very low (I now own a house there). The apartment gate is very well maintained; it is very rarely inoperable (it defaults to going open if the power goes off, etc), and then only for a few hours. The apartments are designed in such a way as no two touch each other except in the pantries, which make noise from the next apartment almost nonexistent. The floors are pretty solid, with very minimal noise from above. The only major complaint I can give is that you do not want to be on the side of the complex that faces 285. There's a hill in the middle of the complex, and one side of it faces 285. It's no problem except for the last row of apartments, which are right next to the road. The sound wall isn't high enough, and it gets quite loud on your porch. This is not an issue from inside the apartment, or from any other row. My experience was very favorable and I would not hesitate to sign another lease there if the need arose.
