I have lived here for a year now. The office staff have changed but they are very friendly and seem to want to help out but the maintenance staff are horrible. The 2 guys that work there are always riding around together on the golf cart and never seem to be doing anything or they are standing around talking to their friends. You call a work order in and it takes forever for it to get completed. Then if they do come, you have to call the office to see because they do not leave anything letting you know that they have been in your home. I have had on going a/c problems that still have not been resolved. They are nosy- always wanting to get into your personal business, and I heard that if you need anything done you have to call corporate because the guy in charge won't do anything unless corporate makes him. The playground needed something around the drain so that kids could not fall into it and a neighbor told me that it finally got big rocks placed around it after they contacted corporate. The pool stays dirty-and get this- the maintenance men hang around it talking to their friends and they do not care if it is nasty. Memorial day weekend my family had to go to a friends community to us the pool because I would not allow my kids to swim in Carrington Ridge's pool. You have to be a friend of the maintenance staff to get anything either- one of my neighbors says that the top guy will get mad at you and tell you to kiss his butt if you want him to do his job and not joke with you. When I first moved in I had a few issues that I hoped would get resolved but I will not renew my lease- with the increases everyone is getting you would think that maintenace would be great. I guess I am going to have to call corporate to get my stuff done. It is sad this is a pretty place, the staff in the leasing office seem to want to help but maintenance sucks. Just come see the pool on the weekends- it is sad.
