Upon moving into Eastwood Village approximately 4 months ago, a leasing agent and I prepared the initial walk through listing numerous defects with the apartment including stains in the carpet, windows that would not stay up, mini blinds which were broken, no screens on some windows...plus additional items found upon moving in including a huge fire ant mound inside the apartment next to the air conditioner/intake closet (where you go to change your air filter), kitchen sink leaking into cabinet, bath plug not working - water drains out immediately, a mud pond outside front door (no backfill after sidewalks completed), threshhold under front door allowing dirt, bugs, wind, water, etc coming into apartment; carpet filthy with fleas, cuts, and is tearing where meets floor. I paid to Eastwood Village upon moving in a deposit to cover my cable which was to be set up by Eastwood Village. To date, I still do not have cable nor any answers whatsoever from the leasing staff. etc etc etc (and I could go on)..After four months, two written requests, three personal visits to leasing office and numerous telephone calls to the leasing office, I received absolutely no response. To this day...still no response...I MOVED OUT!!! and still cannot believe the mismanagement of what could be a beautiful complex.

I can relate with most of it. Especially the bug problems. I told them about it and they said they were going to send pest control. I don't think they ever really did it. I came home one day and found out that someone had been in the apartment to spray for bugs without notifying me. Yet even after that the problems never stopped with bugs, and it freaks me out to know that people can walk in any time without you even knowing about it.
