I moved into Glenwood Vista a few months ago and at first thought it was going to be nice. I was WRONG!!! This is NOT a gated community. There may be a gate that you have to drive through, but no gate around the entire complex. There are a lot of teenagers that do not live here that are at the pool and gym constantly. Don't get me wrong, I was a teenager once, but they came when the complex had a back to school pool party and all the food was gone within 15 minutes!! The police were called out to make them leave, but didn't get there before they ate all the food. I have reported it to management and I was told that those kids don't come here anymore. That is a lie. They come after management leaves in the evenings. They even know the codes to get into the pool and gym. One of the "trespassers" is a young boy who is constantly just walking into peoples' apartments without knocking first. Recently, he opened my door and let my dog out and when my kids went to get the dog, they found this kid kicking my dog repeatedly in the face and behind. My dog has not been the same since this happened. He hides in the closets and it took him two days to go to the bathroom again. I was told by my vet to give him baby aspirin to help the pain. I called police and was told I had to take out a trespassing order against the boy and that I couldn't press charges unless my dog had sustained serious injuries or had died!!!!! I couldn't even file a report! But still, he continues to walk through the woods from his house straight over here! (He's 9 years old). When I asked management what they would do if he got hurt or drowned in their pool when he shouldn't even be here, I got a silent response. The other teenagers who go to the pool are always using foul language around the smaller kids and parents have complained about that as well. Once, there was a girl and a boy (who don't live here) performing sexual acts under the water while young children were swimming. Management needs to realize that the adults are the ones paying the rent, not the kids!! I like my apartment, but I hate walking out the door. The people above me sound like they're bowling or wrestling EVERY night. It always starts around 9:00 pm and when it does, my dog starts barking and the people below me complain about that. I have already started looking for another place to live the only thing about that is that all of the other apartments in Henry county are getting just as many bad reviews as this place.

You're right about all that! We must have been at the pool the same day those teenagers were in the pool. I was uncomfortable and ended up leaving because of it. It's a nice place to live but the tenns hanging out there lately definitely make you not want to go to the pool and stuff anymore.

I agree. I even saw a guy and girl who probably didnt live here with their dog in the pool. When I questioned them they claimed the dog fell in but I went home to get my digital camera and came back, they still had the dog in the pool. Now thanks to kids that don't even live here, our pool closes when management leaves at 6pm. I work from 8-5:40 and I pay too much money to not be able to take my kids swimming after I unwind from a day's work.
