I've lived here since May '07, and am becoming more and more disappointed. I get half a night's sleep due to loud noise which management has no interest. My refrigerator's freezer constantly freezes up then leaks into the refrigerator and onto the floor. If that's not enough, I am under seige by gnats. Sounds ridiculuous, but gnats are supremely annoying. There is no regular maintenance, except that they ignore watering bans and constantly water the front lawns for appearance. You have to call the office to have maintenance change the furnace filter. Other issues pop up all the time. They advertised that satellite is allowed. After signing the lease, and paying a $150 deposit to have a dish installed, they're trying to change the agreement. A manager told me the first manager I spoke to about it did not know what he was talking about. (Not my problem!) They say you can have a dish, just don't attach it to the building in any way, or have it extend over the balcony. They don't even want it mounted in the ground. Well, so much for line of sight!!! That's there way of saying you can have satellite, just don't use a dish!!! Kids run amock. They don't seem too bad, because when I act like an adult and tell them what to do, they do it without argument. However, unchecked, they have no sense. The way they're unattentive parents are raising them I guess. Teenage girls congregate around the pool looking like grown women in bikinis, all for the attention of teen boys, who look like they just stepped out of the ghettoist rap video you ever seen. They grop each other around the pool and often look for the seclusion of the gym. When I'm in there, I turn them back around. Where's management' Where's their parents' Was I the only one who signed a lease forbadding pool and gym access to unaccompanied teens under 18'!!!

This review is bogus.. I have lived a Glenwood Vista for 3 years and the management and maintaince have always been polite and prompt to any of my issuse. The person who wrote this review must not want to follow the rules. Who wants to see satellite dishes all over their community not me.

This review is actual! Don't misunderstand, I never said anything negative about the maintenance personnel. Quite frankly, maintenance do their jobs as they are told to. However, management could use some help. I've been to management several times about people living around me violating lease agreements, and the women I've spoken to basically told me that there was absolutely nothing they could do, and that I should expect the kind of behavior I was reporting because I live in an apartment. Who don't want to follow the rules?! You need to grow up and get a life. I signed the lease because of the rules. When people don't follow rules, you get chaos, the vary type of complaints I've been lodging. It's chaotic because of people like you who want to be in a nice place then mold the rules to fit your whimsical, immature, and amoral behavior. You are the very person I moved here to be away from! I guess I can't escape you no matter how much I pay!!!

I have lived at Glenwood Vista since Feb 07, and you are so out of line. It is not noisey AT ALL. And the teens there are not "Grown" or "Fast" You sound as if you have a problem with people of color by your remark about the young men at the pool. the truth is the people there are not threatening in any shape form or fashion. And please don't reply that you are black because we both know that doesn't mean you can't and don't have a problem with other black people. Glenwood Vista is a nice diverse community, it is very quite considering there are lots of children who live there. Maybe you should move to Buckhead... if they'll have you.
