I moved here thinking it was a great place, boy was I wrong.Where should we start.First the kids sprayed my car with the fire extigusuer. Then about two or three days later they spray painted all the windows. Then we had these neighbors that moved in and they kept having the police come up and bother us.It didn't stop there, they blasted there music from 11:00 till 12:45(the police was called by myself and two of my other neighbors that have to get up early in the morning)that police that lives there showed up at about 1:30 or 2:00.Then he didn't even belive us(we had complained on them before). Then I went to the manager and I told her that "one of us is going to have to move out and I rather it be us".She said that she couldn't do anything about it.So I paid my rent for the last time and moved out.Yesterday6-28-07 they had some kind of fake sounding place call me and tell me that they were going to put it on my credit for 15 years then hung up the phone. Then I told them I was going to sue St.Ives Crossing then they tried to talk me out of doing it,they said that it would go on until 2022.Im taking them to court soon.

That was the worst review I have ever read. I feel my IQ dropping by the second just looking at it. Before you decide to post something like this again maybe you should have someone proof read it for you.
I love how people think that they should be able to move whenever they become unhappy somewhere. You signed a lease, it is a legal and binding contract. If you want to leave early there is a provision that will let you do that... provided you pay the termination fees. If you don't it will go on your credit. What exactly are you going to sue for, because a collection agency called you? If you don't want them calling you live up to your end of the lease agreement.

It would be nice if the management lived up to their end of the contract. Cable goes out for weeks and no one cares to fix it and have to fight to get it credited as a "one time courtesy". Then they let 300 people have a party in the apartment clubhouse that only handles 20-30 people and 2 teenagers got shot after their so called "courtesy officer" told them not to allow it. Even when you give them the proper 60 day notice to terminate, they ignore you and never call back to confirm. They cut the grass but leave the clippings and stuff blown around all over the patios and furniture of the tenants without blowing it off. They never even advertised a courtesy officer until after the shootings. I can't wait to move and have contacted an attorney to fight the penalty fee crap as this is not a safe environment to live in.

It's so silly how someone from the rent office goes back after every bad comment to try to get the rating back up and down the person that's leaving the comments get a life. First you don't live on the property you, could care less. Comment to management staff STOP LYING,people can see how management does not stand by the people in just reading all comments. I'm almost sure someone from management will comment saying they are not management to my comments. This is not a good place to live. If you can afford something better don't live here. These apts are not cheap. But, is a little less than the surrounding others.

what is silly is how just because someone writes something that you don't agree with you assume they must be in management---seems like its too complex for you to realize that what is being said is true if you knew nothing about the courtesy officer before the incident then can we assume you never needed him?? So now its not safe where as before there were no incidents and none since then but ITS NOT SAFE?? Guess you have lived in a bubble all of your life. Things happen its called life when there were only 4 people on earth there was already a murder this was before tv, music, etc so who do we blame for that?? Get over it if you want out of your lease pay the termination fee like everyone else and for GOD's sake stop crying about it........

I am in Property Management, and I agree. For the most part I have had a great residents who understand what it means to have a job where you have to enforce the policies and contractual agreements, but then you get the cry babies who get mad because they feel like they should not have to follow the terms of the contract they signed, initialed and agreed to. I have one thing to say, for those cry babies, we are required to abide by all Federal Fair Housing Rules and Regulations, which means we have to treat everyone the same. We are not going to risk loosing our jobs for you or being fined $1000's of dollars, just because you want us to bend the rules for you. So just know this, you are being treated fairly. In addition, I think it is a shame that people blame management for the problems that they are having with their neighbors, as if we can control their neighbors. Tell you what, if it is that bad, then call the police so that we can have the proper documentation to evict them, because it seems that many are afraid to get involved, instead they rather take it out on the management staff.
Lastly, this comment is not from a member of the Conner Group.

I HAVE ONLY LIVED IN ST. IVES, FOR APPROX. 4 MONTHS. I CANNOT COMPLAIN, I LIKE THE HUGE SIZE OF THE APARTMENTS. MY NEIGHBORS ARE VERY FRIENDLY, THEIR ARE A LOT OF KIDS THAT ARE RUNNING ASTRAY, BUT THAT IS EXPECTED IN ANY APARTMENT COMMUNITY AND YES TWO TEENAGERS WERE MURDERED AT THE CLUBHOUSE, BUT MURDERS ALSO, OCCUR IN OTHER APARTMENT COMMUNITIES AS WELL AS SUBDIVISIONS, SO WHY ARE WE SO SHOCKED. I WAS INFORMED OF A POLICE OFFICER LIVING IN THE APARTMENT COMMUNITY WHEN I VIEWED THE PROPERTY. I HAVE ONLY ENCOUNTERED ONE UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF, I CANNOT REMEMBER HER NAME. ONEIKA IS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND PATIENT AND I TRULY APPRECIATE THAT, MAINTENANCE RESPONDS WITHIN A TIMELY MANNER. ALL AND ALL ST. IVES IS NOT A BAD PLACE TO LIVE, IT IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT.

The lease is sign in good faith. They didn't disclose any gang related activities. So any unforseen activities occur like the shooting residents should have an option of breaking the lease by forfeiting their deposit or by paying an extra months rent. I m not saying you should be out for free or no consequences but I am just saying provide an option thats doesn't say you are responsible for the entire terms agreement.
