Myself and my boyfriend were just like most other residents whaen moving into St. Ives. We thought we were getting a great deal for our money. But after living there for only five months we are more than ready to pay any cancellation fee neccessary and move out as soon as possible. First and foremost we have been lied to on more than three occasions by the personel in the rent office. They are constantly rude, always pushy, and never show any interest for our needs...only getting back to whatever conversation they were having before. Secondly, it takes forever for any maintaince problem in the apartment to be fixed. It took almost three days for someone to come out and fix our heat in the middle of November. There were also very big cracks in our doorways allowing cold air into our apartment that still had not been fixed. Thirdly, the so-called safety gate that was to be installed at the entrance of the complex after a fatal shootign about six months ago, is still not working. Leaving the apartment open to anyone who wants to come in, which was the problem in the first place. It just doesn't make any sense how one complex could have so many problems and not be willing to fix them.
