I moved here a few months ago based upon what the leasing office ladies described as a safe apartment community, the maintenance was top flight... the staff care about their residents. Well... all that was pure BS!! My apartment was'nt even ready when I moved in, I had to wait 2 days to get heat...
1)The maintenance guy came the one night it snowed and was cold... he was drunk, fell up the stairs and I politely turned him around... he's still working on heating & AC i gues until he kills someone.
2)The apartment is supposed to be a "gated community" Thise gates have not been closed yet... Excuse... "We're waiting for parts to come in" Did they order the parts from Korea'
3)The mailbox area... you better meet the mail carrier at the box.. the boxes are broken into, busted open.
4)The roaches are everywhere!! I even had a damn snake on my patio!!! I made several request to have this tree behind my building trimmed or cut down... No luck!
5) The Heartland package... You pay another electric bill for the common (outdoor) lights that don't work, the trash... compactor stays broke... trash may sit there for days... sewage... the whole place is a sewage dump!! Cable you pay $25 for for basic... Why doi have to pay them when I work for a cable company and get it all for free'!!!
6) The garbage disposal inside the unit... sounds like a damn motor gone bad... it's so loud the neighbors can hear it.
7) The noise... you can file a noise complaint with the leasing office and because a certain neighbor is a big, muscular guy.. they're afraid to approach him.. he threatens the neighbors if they comnplain to him about the music. WTH!!
8) The courtesy officer... Who is he' Where is he' He never shows up until a few hours later. I guess he's scared too
9) Safety.... There have been car break ins, apartment doors kicked in and there was a big gang fight a few weeks ago!!! Oh and a murder!!! The emergency lights in the breezeways are hanging off the walls, half of the breezeway lights are broken or blown out. You can request until you're blue in the face for this stuff to get fixed and you will be ignored!!! The tenants are not important!!
10) Don't complain and try to break your lease because you feel unsafe, they threaten to destroy your credit!!! they do everything against the laws of Georgia!! You're trapped into a lease that you don't want!!!
11) The grounds.. they take care of them very good, I wish they took care of the apartments that well.
12) The fitness center... only certain residents get keys... Guess I did'nt make the cut... I requested a key months ago. There's rats in there anyway and the equipment is old and broken.
13)The leasing office employees... ghetto as hell. They gossip from resident to resident and put you in it because they are insecure about themselves!! The manager makes promises she can't... then again have no intentions on keeping. "Give me until May to have '' done... It's June and she has yet to contact me!
**If anyone knows of any good attornies or organizations that can help me with this nightmare... please post the info!!! I am pleading with you!!! Thank You!

Im not sure who can take care of the legal parts of this but i will say that when you are ready i will go with you to court. I moved out because my apartment was broken into twice the second time i think they had a key. Um"maintence". I broke my lease because i feared for my life instead of taken your problems to the office start making complaints with the police department keep a record of all the things that happen and if you can get anything in writing from that office your in the house. Then just move when they try to put it on your credit dispute it they will miss atleast one dispute and your free of them after that. We never had anything come up on our credit about them but just in case you do thats how you get it off your credit.

Don't try to get help from BBB,Because the Connor Group is a BBB Accredited Business. I made a complaint back on 02/02/09 and still have not received a resolution.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE PREVIOUS POST. I CAN NOT BELIEVE I WAS BAMBOOSLED BY SAINT IVES APARTEMNTS. I MOVED FROM NEW JERSEY AND THIS IS THE PROJECTS WITH OUT A DOUBT. THEY DO NOT DO ANY SCREENING AND LET ANYONE RENT AND IT SEEMS LIKE ANYONE WHO CAN PAY THE RENT GETS IN AND WHO EVER THEY BRING WITH THEM. I HAVE COMPLAINED AND NOTHING WORKS. IT IS TRULY A NIGHTMARE LIVING IN THIS COMPLEX. I CAN NOT WAIT UNTIL MY LEASE IS UP.

The management staff lie through thier teeth and are ghetto as hell. They are trying to move in White folk to hide thier BS. They need to be worrying about that, they will bring them done quicker. I thank God I am out of there. That has been the worse place I have ever lived in. The last straw for me was when my damn door got kicked in and the management ignored my calls until I went to the office. Henry County PD said that was the wosrse apartment complex in Stockbridge. I just learned that some one got killed there in Blvd. 17!! If you are still there Please be careful! Get some protection!!!!
