If you notice, for every negative or neutral rating posted here, the management counters with some bogus review with how wonderful and pleasurable they themselves are.

Bottom line: area is going downhill, crime is up, traffic and congestion is up, and the Clayton County school system sucks and is very dangerous, especially at Mt. Zion High. Think twice before putting your children in this criminal system. Gangs, violence, inadequate school board and teachers. Your choice. Remote control ceiling fans and self-proclaimed management staff at aging complex or your kids and teens in harms way and not being adequately educated.

News flash on most recent violence for Clayton County schools:
"Hours after the victims of two teen party shootings were buried Thursday, Clayton County leaders vowed to combat youth violence with prayer meetings on school grounds, stricter enforcement of curfew laws and dress codes, a task force on gang activity and more police on the streets.

At an emergency community meeting at Mundy's Mill High School, politicians, law enforcement officers, preachers and educators called for action to stop the bloodletting that took the lives of Krystal Williams, 14, and Larry Bishop Jr., 18, last weekend.

"How much are our children worth'" Sheriff Victor Hill asked. "I'm sure there's no price that [Krystal's mother] wouldn't pay to have her back today."

Hundreds of parents, students, teachers and concerned community members filled the high school's cafeteria Thursday night. Some came to show their support for the plans of community leaders. Others came to hear how classrooms were going to be made safer for students frightened of being harmed at school.

"Personally, I think there is a crisis when two children are gunned down like that," said Mary Ann Hathaway of Jonesboro, whose son was one of 1,044 students at the 1,900-student school too scared to go to school Monday because of threats of more gang violence. "There is a crisis."

Bishop was shot and killed at a house party last Saturday ? retaliation, police said, for a bloody campus fight between rival gangs last Friday. No arrests have been made in his slaying.

Four teens were arrested Tuesday in connection with the death of Williams, a freshman at Forest Park High School. She was killed during a shootout at a "Sweet 16" birthday party last Friday.

Police have said the two shootings are not related."

And there is a gang presence at Mt. Zion HS too.

why didn't you check out the school system before moving in?? i would, if I had kids.

I didn't check out the school systems either. I knew I was moving to Atlanta and that was that. I gave my review of the overall experience I had there, not the community. I am back in Alexandria, Virginia with some of the top schools and the programs offered to children and teens are phenomenal. Now, rent is another issue in the WDC area but the same as it would be in Buckhead or Alpharetta. I don't miss Georgia at all but wish I could take the apartment I had at Winnstead and move it here to Alexandria. Every where you go and out of all of the ratings you read there will be complaints. You have to take them with a grain of salt. It's not your own place and if you want perfection, buy a house. You will get tired of the kids, taking the trash all the way to the front of the complex and everything else. Kunta is no different than Alex, they both do what they want. I think you have a clause in your apartment. Don't sign any lease until you have seen and inspected thouroughly the condition of your apartment then don't move in til it is complete. In terms of the schools in the area one of my closest friends is a teacher at Mt. Zion Elementary and is responsible for why my 7 year old is reading on a 3rd grade level. Crime is everywhere. Pray about it and move on, you can be gunned down at the Walmart in Stockbridge!
