I am a tenant in this property, and I have lived here for several years. I happen to find the office staff and maintenance crew very pleasant and helpful, I never have a problem without it being fixed within 24 hours. When I moved here there was a different management and maintenance crew with a lot of problems that had to be addressed. But once Ms Steward took over things started to change for the better. I have enjoed a clean and healthy pool this summer,there was a summer breakfast and lunch program for the children and an NFL camp for kids also. I like where I live and will resign my lease again when it becomes due....Kudos to Ms Steward and all the employees at the colony of stone mountain keep up the good work...

yeah right this is the ghetto in the east side of the the city.. this is obviously a memember of the staff writting this garbarge... tell you what where is the staff when the roach problem is so bad the are crawling from unit to unit. the helicopters are flying nightly the gunfire never stops... this property is located right down the street from memorial drive off N. hairiston road and central ave. which nothing more that a drug infested trap.. you constantly have dekalb county presence whether you like it or not. the staff if a bunch of morons.. they have been replaced more times than i can count everytime i go into that office they fired and rehired. they only two constant is susan and her latina assistant that was fired from a previous property .. the maintenance staff is questionable . they had a supervisor who was fired for suspision of stealing airconditioner right off the property.... beware .... all is not well in colony... the groundsman is a former drug addict. there have been several breakins and car thefts ... the colony is a a regular dumping ground for stolen cars... yeah if you like living the ghetto life style the cheap price will thrill you and get you in and then the poor maintenace will frustate you... what the use of living in a cheap dump if you have no peace. the pool stayed filthy all year and they clean it up in the summer month after a what resemble a black oil stain or back up in the sewerage system and after a nice clorine clean out they didn't hesistate to to let the tennant swim... at they own risk.health risk.. yuk ...bottom line ...every thing that is cheap is not good. do your home work ... before you move in the colony of stonemountain.
