I wasted $8,300 on an apartment that didn't even feel like home. Maintenance problems occurred from day one of move in. I did not have anyone to give a walk through. It took maintenance 4 weeks to fix minor problems even as a new tenant. This carried on throughout the entire lease! My lease ended July 1, 2002. I gave management a 30 day notice upon moving out and transferred to another Equity property "Champions Park" which is much much nicer. After signing the new lease with Champions Park, Hidden Pointe Apartments decide that they want to hit me with a $3,000 debt saying I owe them for July, August, September, and October's rent of 2002!!!! Remind you, I moved out on July 1st of 2002!!!! Now, I'm fighting with them and the credit bureau for nothing!!!! This is rediculous. Hidden Pointe has changed employees over 4 times in one year and has their paperwork all screwed up, so they want to blame prior tenants who paid on time every month for their mishaps. This really disgusts me!!!!! If there is anything else I can do to save someone one else's time, money, and peace of mind, Please let me know!
